COMMISH NOTES:

Under the headline "Better late than Never" or "Why Do I Even Bother" here's the Week 2 Recap.

ASU continues to live up to the hype and struggled to beat division 7 Cal Poly. This may be a long year Devils fans !

Thank you Brutus, you couldn't squeeze out a measly half point against the Rainbow Warriors to cover.

On a brighter note the Commish was actually able to beat my 12 year old son this week - I've informed Mrs Commish she can begin to feed the child again.

WEEKLY WINNER

Robert Kilian is this week's winner compiling an impressive 16 win week. Mr Kilian is the pool's oldest living member having been a member of the pool since 19 ought 2, in fact he was Jim Thorpe's towel boy for 3 years until an ugly locker room incident involving Charlie Chaplin and 3 of the original Little Rascals. You can find Mr Kilian most days wearing his Spanish American War uniform playing with a Hoop and Stick

muttering about that God damned Calvin Coolidge. He plans on taking his $100 in winnings and buying some Moxie Cola and purchasing some land in the Arizona Territories.

WEEKLY LOSER

Jennifer Mayberry is this week's loser with just pathetic 3 correct guesses. The old Commish would at this point would make some crass comments on how Jenn should stick to the the laundry room, making sandwiches, and hosting Tupperware parties and leave the gambling to the menfolk. But the Commish would never sink that low - that being said get back in the kitchen honey!

OVER ALL LEADER AND LUNKHEAD

Robert "Get off my Lawn" Kilian sits on top of the dung heap known as this pool and has a 28 and 12 record. His lead will soon vanquish when he forgets his picks in the coming weeks in order to watch reruns of Matlock and Murder She Wrote.

There's a 4 way tie for last place between Brad Fisher, Cat Bellamak, Brett Bargey, and Jennifer Mayberry who each struggled to come up with just 13 wins over 2 weeks of play. Cat and Brad are pool veterans so their lack of skill in game picking comes as no surprise but Brett and Jenn are newbies and one would think that they'd spend more than the 11 seconds they obviously are spending now to make their picks. Keep it up gang and the PJA is yours !

There are still several of you that are falling into the deadbeat category very quickly and yes some of you said the check is in the mail but if you suddenly can't make any picks that means the Commish has put you on the bench for non payment. It's been almost a month for you to pay so get your shit together !
